Skin tags show up in places people would rather not discuss, so we built this site to know as little about you as possible. The short version: no accounts, no ad trackers, no selling data — and your ZIP search never reaches our servers.
Your ZIP search stays in your browser
The ZIP search on this site is matched to a city page by code running entirely in your browser. The ZIP code you type is not transmitted to us, stored by us, or shared with anyone. Closing the tab is the end of it.
What we collect
- Standard server logs. Like nearly every website, the infrastructure that serves these pages may log technical data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. We use such logs only for security and keeping the Site running, and we don't combine them with any other data to identify you.
- Email you send us. If you write to hello@skintagsgone.com, we receive your address and message and use them only to respond and to fix whatever you reported. Please don't include medical details in email — we're not clinicians and don't need them.
What we don't do
- No user accounts, and no forms that collect personal information.
- No advertising trackers or third-party marketing cookies.
- No sale, rental, or sharing of personal information — with anyone.
- No health data. We never ask about your skin, and we'd rather not know.
We currently run no analytics. If we ever add a privacy-respecting analytics tool to count visits, we will name it on this page first.
Third-party sites
Provider listings link to practices' own websites and booking systems. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control — anything you share there (including health information for booking) is governed by their policies, not this one.
Children
The Site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act), you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information about you. Given how little we collect, the honest answer to most requests will be that we hold nothing about you — but email hello@skintagsgone.com and we'll check and respond. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising a privacy right.
Changes
If our practices change, this page will change first, with the date above updated. Material changes — like adding analytics — will be stated plainly, not buried.
