What we never charge for
- Listings. Practices cannot pay to be included, and inclusion cannot be bought off, either — a practice that stops meeting our criteria comes off the site regardless of any relationship.
- Rankings and recommendations. Where providers appear on a page reflects editorial judgment about methods, transparency, and reviews — never payment.
- Your search. Using the site is free, requires no account, and adds no fee or markup to anything you book with a practice.
What we will never sell
We will not sell or take affiliate commissions on over-the-counter skin tag removal products — serums, patches, or freeze kits. The FDA has approved no over-the-counter drug for skin tag removal, so recommending those products for a commission would make us exactly the kind of site we built this one to counter.
How the site may earn revenue
Today, Skin Tags Gone earns no revenue; it is independently funded by its operators. If that changes, revenue will come from sources that don't compromise the directory, such as clearly labeled advertising or sponsored placements. Anything paid-for will be visibly marked — "sponsored" or "ad" — and will never be disguised as an editorial ranking or affect who qualifies for a listing. If we adopt any revenue source, we'll describe it on this page before or as it launches.
